This year we have continued to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. This years lights will bring joy to lots of people from all over and collecting for Make-A-Wish just makes this years display even better! The display has been growing over the years and this year we will have over 300,000 lights. We have been working on the display since September to assure that this will be the best light display in Austin! The theme this year is "Believe" because we know all you have to do is believe and your wish may come true. Donating to Make-A-Wish fills our hearts with joy because we know the funds are going to a wonderful cause. The Make-A-Wish foundation grants wishes for wish kids to let them go on a trip or get something special that means a lot them. In our family we believe it is truly better to give than receive. Last year we raised over $80,000 totaling almost $200,000 in seven years! Each time a wish is granted we add a reindeer above the lake. A wish on average is $7500.
